Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with your items, The Fold will provide a refund or exchange given the below requirements and steps are met.

We know returns can be inconvenient, so we have made this process as easy as possible. Simply use your personal log in at thefoldswim.com to issue an instant return when it’s convenient for you. You will have 7 days after receiving your order to lodge your return and post your item back to us.


The Fold will provide a refund on all items except art prints. This excludes original and return shipping costs, which will be at the customer’s expense.


The Fold accepts size exchanges for Australian orders. Return shipping will be at the cost of the customer, however, The Fold will cover the cost of sending the replacement item(s) for the first exchange only. All exchanges are subject to availability. If your item is unavailable we will do our best to make alternative arrangements.

Unfortunately we do not accept exchanges on sale items or international orders. If you would like to return your item(s) please do so for a refund and place a new order.

Return Steps

1. Lodge your return
  • Log into your account at thefoldswim.com here. Don’t worry if you checked out as a guest though – we have an account waiting for you. You just need to reset the password here and then login.
  • Find the order containing the item(s) you would like to return on you account dashboard and click ‘Return Items’
  • Select the item(s) you would like to return and click ‘Return Items’
  • Fill out the online returns form
  • You will then be assigned an RMA code – it will start with the letters ‘TF’
  • All exchanges are subject to availability – if your item is unavailable we will contact you and do our best to make alternative arrangements
2. Ensure items are ready for return

Returns will only be accepted if the item is returned:

  • In original condition, unworn and unwashed
  • With hygienic sticker intact
  • With all tags attached
  • In original packaging
  • With a completed returns form (including RMA code)

3. Post your return back to us

Please ensure your item(s) are securely packaged and arrange shipping at your own expense. We recommend that you return your item by registered post and add a tracking number to your return. While this isn’t necessary it will help us to track the item and ensure we can verify your return should it not reach us for whatever reason. Unfortunately The Fold cannot be held responsible for parcels sent without tracking that have not been received back.

You will be notified when we receive your return. If you have met the above requirements your return will be processed. The Fold reserves the right to refuse a return if the above requirements are not met.


Your new item(s) will be sent out within 5 business days of receiving and approving the returned item. The Fold will also cover the cost of sending the new item(s) to you (Australia only).


Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receiving and approving the returned item(s). The refund will be issued by the same method in which the item was paid for. Original and return shipping costs will not be refunded. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.


If for some reason your item is faulty, The Fold will cover all costs of returning the item and will endeavour to repair or replace the item as soon as possible. You will receive a full refund for the item if the item cannot reasonably be repaired or replaced, or if required by law. Please contact info@thefoldswim.com to arrange for return of a faulty item.
